Registration, Dress-Up Days, and Important Updates
Fall is in full swing at Carousel Gymnastics, and the gym is buzzing with energy as students settle into their routines. October brings not only cooler weather but also some exciting opportunities, special events, and a few important reminders for families.
Keeping the Gym Safe and Focused
At our Waupaca location, please keep the doors to the main gym area clear at all times. This space needs to remain open in case of an emergency, but it also helps our students stay focused. Extra movement or distractions in the gym can pull attention away from instructors and make it harder for children to learn safely.
At both Waupaca and Plover, we also ask families to refrain from “coaching” from the sidelines. We know it can be tempting to cheer or give advice, but even small comments can distract not only your child but also the rest of the class. Our coaches are trained to guide students, and letting them take the lead ensures everyone stays safe and engaged.
Winter Session Registration
It’s hard to believe, but our winter session is right around the corner. Registration opens soon:
- October 30: Priority registration for students currently enrolled in the fall session
- October 31: Open registration for all students
Class recommendations will be handed out during week 7 of the fall session. To reserve a spot, tuition plus the $20 annual registration fee must be paid at the time of registration. Classes often fill quickly, so don’t wait!
Families who use AOE or other third-party financial institutions should complete registration online using the Parent Portal.
Follow us on Facebook (Carousel Gymnastics Waupaca and Carousel Gymnastics Plover) to see the schedule as soon as it’s posted.
October Dress-Up Days
October gives students two fun chances to show off their style in the gym:
- Breast Cancer Awareness Week: Wear pink during class October 14–18 to honor those who have faced breast cancer and to show support for survivors. It’s a great way for our community to come together and send a powerful message: no one fights alone.
- Halloween Week: From October 24 through October 30, students are welcome to wear workout-appropriate costumes or festive outfits to class. Just make sure costumes are safe and allow for movement. Please note there are no evening classes on October 31.
Staying Healthy This Season
As temperatures drop, so do our immune defenses. Cold, flu, allergy season, and COVID are all concerns this time of year. To help keep our community healthy:
- If your child does not feel well, please keep them home.
- If your child did not attend school due to illness, they should not attend class that day.
We appreciate everyone’s effort to keep the gym a safe and healthy environment for all.
Toddler Time Returns to Plover
Toddler Time is back in Plover beginning Monday, October 7! These open gym-style sessions are perfect for children walking through age 5.
- Plover: Mondays, 9:30–10:15 am
- Waupaca: Thursdays, 9:30–10:15 am and 11:15 am–12:00 pm
Cost is just $5 per child, and no pre-registration is required. It’s a great way for little ones to explore, move, and build confidence while parents enjoy watching them discover new skills.
Looking Ahead
October is shaping up to be a fun and busy month at Carousel Gymnastics. Between special dress-up days, Toddler Time, and upcoming registration, there’s something for everyone to get excited about. Most importantly, thank you to all our families for helping us create a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment where kids can thrive.
👉 Mark your calendars for winter registration and join us this month for dress-up fun and Toddler Time. We can’t wait to see what our students accomplish next!
